Heirloom Wedding Accessories from Bridal Gown Alteration Scraps
This project included love-note pocket squares, bow ties for the groom, ring bearers, and even the family dog, a bridal garter set, hair bows for the flower girls, and Christmas ornaments for herself and gifts.
Hailee found a beautiful ballgown-style dress at a local bridal shop. After having it altered at Alterations by Debbie, Xandra Moments used the leftover fabric to create heirloom wedding-day accessories that can be cherished and passed down for generations. The most meaningful piece was a set of pocket squares personalized with handwritten love notes, carefully transferred onto the fabric, for the most important men in her life - her husband, father, and grandfather.
